Project scope &
my role

Bonus flash was implemented as a project of facelift and information architecture improvement in order to keep up with the current design trends and update itself, as one of the projects that Userspots designed from the beginning to the end. I led the User Experience and Interface of this project and collaborated with the stakeholders.

Methods Followed

Benchmark

I've made research on four different topics, which are card structures, interface, interaction, and grid structures. That information guided us to create the application structure and the design style.

Design Trends Analysis

In the analysis of the analyzed trend, it was concluded that the information and visual weight in the card structures, personalization in illustrative varieties, and white areas in colors were used, and facelift study was started in this direction.

Card Sorting

One of the goals of the project was to build a better information architecture on the app. Therefore, card sorting was the method that we've applied to. The study guided us in the direction of changing the menu structure.

Tree Test

A Tree Test of 110 people in total was performed and deficiencies and good points in 3 different information architectures were determined.
These 3 information architectures were tested and their availability was compared with the old tree.

Usability Test

Within the scope of the Bonus Flash usability test, the process of performing these tasks within the scope of the tasks given about the changes and interactions of the users on the home page and the general features of the application other than that was examined.

Tree Test

A Tree Test of 110 people in total was performed and deficiencies and good points in 3 different information architectures were determined.
These 3 information architectures were tested and their availability was compared with the old tree.

Results

- The general search process of the users is the same as the word of the action sought.
For example, the person who will make a transaction regarding credit card is looking for this action in the field of credit cards or cards.
- In the tests, the version of the Notifications in the navigation bar got the best score with a %76 correct answer.

- As a result of the test, the information architecture success rate has increased from 58 percent to 78 percent, and the direct response rate has increased from 59 percent to 89 percent.

Interaction

Although the number of cards in the card family cannot be predicted verbally, it has been observed that they make correct interactions and sliding movements in user movements.
